In 2016, the Connecticut Medal of Technology, Connecticut’s highest honor to recognize extraordinary technological achievements in fields crucial to Connecticut’s economic competitiveness and social-well-being, will be awarded.
This Medal recognizes an individual who has made extraordinary contributions to the development and widespread implementation of technology in one or more of these areas: process and/or product innovation; technology transfer; advanced manufacturing; and technology management. The award is bestowed in alternate years with the Connecticut Medal of Science.
Selection of the annual Medalist is conducted by the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering. Medal recipients will be permanently featured in a Hall of Fame at the Connecticut Science Center.
