Fuss & O’Neill Technologies, LLC received one of 40 awards for fastest growing technology companies in Connecticut, at the Connecticut Technology Council’s UHY LLP Tech Top 40 program on November 6, 2008. Selection was based on the percentage revenue growth over four years; 2004 to 2007.  fandotech is an IT solutions provider based in Manchester, CT. Fandotech provides data center, managed network services, and applications solutions to meet the demand of the small to mid-sized business marketplace.

Data Center Services – Colocation/Managed Servers - 24/7/365 we monitor and resolve alerts as we manage backups, networks, and servers from our data centers. We never take a vacation and we never punch out. fandotech is available around the clock to fulfill our commitment to our valued clients.

Our applications team is poised to understand individual business objectives and translate them into complete tools for ecommerce, business process automation and spatially managed information (GIS). We have industry leading professionals and facilities management certifications. We have PMP and ITIL staff overseeing our technical staff, including those certified in the following specialties: Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, SonicWall, HP, Dell, GISP, ESRI and more.

Competitors
Fandotech serves a unique market space just below the Fortune 500 providers and above the typical SMB providers. There are few companies that can provide fandotech’s blend of enterprise quality and services with the ability to scale to mid-sized business clients. HP, IBM, and AT&T are the Fortune 500 providers that we emulate. It is not uncommon that we all may be courting the same project at a particular client.

Fandotech has three main differentiators to our competition. First, we are a local organization with resources located close to our client base. Second, we have a strong technical team carrying the major industry certifications. Third, we have a deep bench to support our clients when they need action. Lastly, our datacenters provide the technological redundancy and security required to provide our hosting and business continuity solutions that many of our competitors cannot supply or are forced to outsource.

Future Business Opportunities
The changing economy is forcing most companies to look at their current staffing levels. We see a huge opportunity in outsourcing or “out-tasking” certain functions in the area of IT support. Small to mid-sized organizations are looking at alternatives to hiring full-time employees and our “180 IT” services can often be the answer. 180 IT is a managed service program where we act as the clients IT department bringing the client a full IT staff with a team of IT professionals. These resources include access to a Level I and II Technical Assistance Center to support the client’s day to day needs. All of this is provided for a predictable monthly fee.

Additionally, we see a strong need for our data center services. Companies that are investigating options for business continuity, disaster recovery, or have regulatory compliance concerns might benefit by moving their IT services into our data center. Here, a company can benefit from the redundancies and security we have built, without the capital expense they might incur doing it alone.

Business Challenges

The greatest challenge will be controlled growth of our organization and capital resources to make investments to support that growth. Market demand for our services has been high. We see consumer confidence being a potential obstacle over the next 12 months as customers may hesitate, due to economic conditions, to sign long-term contracts.
