Amphenol Corp. lifted second-quarter net income on record sales for the Wallingford manufacturer’s electronic wiring systems, cable connectors and related products. For three months ended June 30, Amphenol said Wednesday it netted $251.5 million vs. $206.5 million in the second quarter of 2016. Per share, earnings were a record 80 cents a diluted share vs. 65 cents a year ago, the company said.
