Clean tech company offers high-performance, non-toxic lubricants and degreasers
Rocky Hill, Conn., May 17, 2011 – Connecticut Innovations (CI), the state’s quasi-public authority responsible for technology investing and innovation development, today announced that it has made a follow-on investment of $500,000 in LiQuifix Inc. (LiQuifix) of Stamford, Conn., through the Connecticut Clean Tech Fund. CI’s investment is part of a $1 million funding round also involving LaunchCapital and other private investors.
LiQuifix makes “green,” non-toxic lubricants and degreasers for commercial as well as consumer use. Its product line includes a non-aerosol spray lubricant that protects and extends the life of industrial equipment; lubricating wipes that deliver a layer of lubrication in places where a spray may be difficult to apply; and a biodegradable degreaser/cleaner in wipe or spray form.
