Digital marketing research firm InsightExpress launches new real-time campaign measurement, optimization, and reporting tool for online branding for marketers. Over in Stamford, the company has been busy with its LiveInsights technology, which is being released across the media industry following a preview by NBC Universal as part of its Universal Advertising Platform as a way to eliminate reporting issues such as the need for weighting.

Google Apps and Verizon are teaming up to offer a broadband service combo for small/medium-sized businesses. Businesses in 12 states, including Connecticut, which already have a bundle with Verizon Internet service and either Verizon voice or TV service, can already access to Google Apps for Verizon with business applications such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Sites.

Digital technology will soon see a better day in court. A new report from an advisory committee to Connecticut’s Judicial Branch shows that the state’s court transcript system is a wee bit in need of an update to expedite transcript requests and to possibly cut down on court reporters and monitors’ overtime.

The Milken Institute's 2010 State Technology and Science Index shows Connecticut coming in at #9 on the list of states that have successfully built and leveraged their technology and science resources to provide company and job growth in the two sectors. Massachusetts retained its #1 ranking since the 2008 index with our state falling back from its #7 spot.
