On July 29th CTC will host its annual forum for the Presidents and CEOs of technology companies. CTC has been holding this evening networking event, combined with golf for those who might want to play a round, for three years.
The event, which this year will be at the TPC at River Highlands, has actually been around for six years but moved to an evening networking format with dinner and a keynoter in 2008. In 2008, Barry Nalebuff engaged our 35 CEO guests with his interactive style on the innovation and creative process. Last year IBM executive John Lutz talked to the executives about some past and future IT trends. This year's keynoter will be Bob Knapp.
Knapp is the former Chairman and CEO of Harris Interactive, a NASDAQ listed international market research and consulting firm. The company is best known for its Harris Poll and for pioneering the use of the Internet to conduct scientifically accurate market research. Prior to Harris Interactive, Knapp held a variety of executive positions at Gartner. He was ultimately the firm's Chief Strategy Officer. Bob will talk about how a CEO should position a company for the recovery.
So if you are the CEO or President of a technology company based here in Connecticut and your company is doing at least $3M in revenue, then come to the event. If you want to get in a round of nine or 18 holes on an extraordinary course, that is an option as well.
