CTech responds to demand by offering part-time space to associate members
Rocky Hill, Conn., March 30, 2011 – Connecticut Innovations (CI), the states quasi-public authority responsible for technology investing and innovation development, today announced that, as of March 2011, the space at CTech@Science Park at Yale is fully leased. Eight early-stage businesses focused on information technology and medical devices now occupy this 4,000 s.f., New Haven-based technology business incubation facility managed by CI.
CMDBioscience (CMD), a computational biotechnology company that specializes in the computer enabled analysis, modeling and design of therapeutic protein-peptide interactions, leased the last available office space in the incubator. Using CMDs proprietary and fully validated computational discovery platform CMDInventus℠, CMD scientists can help partner organizations efficiently identify novel peptide hits, understand the structural basis of protein-peptide interactions, and rationally optimize peptide leads. Last month, CI announced its Pre-Seed Fund investment in CMD.
