Venture Capital Investments In State Businesses Smaller In 3rd Quarter

In the third quarter, 11 companies in the state received a total of $24.2 million from venture capital firms, according to a report by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association based on data from Thomson Reuters. Last year, for the same quarter, 12 firms received a total of $46.4 million.
